Schlagel Manufacturing’s Grapple Forks are built TOUGH to withstand the roughest abuse that a pay loader can dish out. You will not be disappointed in this machine. Your pay loader will be more versatile with a Schlagel Grapple Fork. The Grapple Fork incorporates a quick-attach design that allows the GF-1000 Grapple Fork to be easily removed when not needed. Stands built into the grapple make mounting and removal of the grapple a one man job. Simply disconnect your hydraulic couplers, lower the stand legs, remove four (4) 7/8" nuts and lower the bucket out from under the grapple fork. It's that easy!
The grapple requires four (4) mounting brackets to be welded to the top of your bucket. We have some common bucket mounts already designed and can be made quickly as needed. The best way to tell if we have mounts for your bucket is by the bucket's part number. If your bucket is not one we have on file, then we will require some measurements and a cardboard template, or you can bring your bucket to our factory (Torrington, Wyoming) and we will weld your mounts on at no charge! Plus if we weld the brackets on, you can be assured they are on correctly!
We currently have three (3) models of the GF-1000 Grapple Fork. They are:
GF-1000 Standard Grapple Fork
GF-1000HL which is made specifically for John Deere's "High Lift" Loaders
GF-1000S which is a "split" frame model allowing the grapple's two cylinders to operate separately
All our grapples are built using heavy wall tubing. The main mounting bar is 4" square tube with a 3/8" wall! And the main frame of the grapple is 3.5" square tube with a 1/4" wall. The grapple has two (2) 3" x 16" hydraulic cylinders for lots of squeezing power. Standard 37" forks are made of 3/4" plate but the 47" forks are 1" plate and have heavy duty cross bracing for added rigidity.
